ABOUT RYAN LEWIS
From Gary, Indiana, to a mission that reaches beyond me.
I grew up in Gary, Indiana, a kid from modest beginnings whose journey would eventually take him through the United States Marine Corps, law enforcement, finance, and serial entrepreneurship.
Today, I’m bringing those chapters together as the founder of Red Team Academy.
Money touches nearly every part of our lives: the opportunities we can pursue, the risks we can afford to take, the families we support, and the futures we build. Understanding it should be within everyone’s reach.
That belief is the foundation of Red Team Academy.
I’m building a place where your financial education can grow alongside your ambition. Where your first budget can lead to understanding credit, preparing for homeownership, evaluating investments, starting a company, or learning how to acquire a business. Where you can ask the basic questions, challenge your assumptions, and practice consequential decisions before real money is on the line.
My vision brings together the depth of an academy, the engagement of a game, and the strength of a community we're building together. Rally will bring financial decisions to life through practice and simulation. Sergeant Rally, our AI learning coach, is being designed to follow your learning journey with intelligence, humor, encouragement, and a little tough love.
The standard I’m setting is high because the subject deserves it. People deserve education that respects their intelligence, explains the risks, and gives them something useful to carry into their lives.
My journey began in Gary. The next chapter is about building something that helps others move forward, wherever they’re starting from.

- The Academy: structured, in-depth education across personal finance, credit, investing, and business ownership.
- Rally: an interactive finance game where you practice decisions, face realistic challenges, and learn from the consequences using simulated money.
- Sergeant Rally: an AI learning coach designed to explain concepts, guide practice, and support your progress. He explains; he never gives personal financial advice.
- The community (being built): a place to ask questions, share perspectives, and learn alongside people working toward their own goals.
